My dad thinks someone poisoned our dog.

Last night my dad let our dog out to go to the bathroom, and when he let him in, he soon noticed something in he house smelled really bad, similar to the smell of a skunk. He looked all around the house and finally realized it was the dog. He let it go with the excuse the dog ran into a skunk or the garbage. Other than that, there's nothing we have that he could have actually gotten into.

Today our dog was acting weird. He was acting as if he was blind. He kept running into stuff. Then eventually his legs stopped working, so for the majority of the night, hes just been lying there. My dads going to take him to the vet in the morning. My dads all stressed because he's afraid we will have to get the dog put to sleep. We've had this dog for 11 years now D: But this seems to have always happened to our pets.

One of our dogs got shot, two poisoned, and someone tried to hang our cat. Now this dog.

Why are people so heartless when it comes to animals???

are there some kinda strange kids in teh neighbourhood?

Not 100% sure he was poisoned. But he sure is acting like something is wrong with him. Yesterday he was fine.

It might be just me but i dun think these
stories that u sometimes write really need to be
shown to everyone. Not that im trying to be meen but i meen
i dun no your dog, he might jus have food poisening. I might
be the first one to say it, and seem like an asshole, but i could
really care less.

One sec, gonna grab one of my vet books and look up these symptoms for you. Yea, I have a heart after all. =P Brb~

Well maybe someone has knowledge on this stuff and can help me, like Omie's post for instance.

I need to know these things:

How lethargic is the dog? If you shine a light in its eyes do the pupils dilate or contract, will he follow the light if you move it around?

Is he drinking over-excessivly or not drinking enough?

Does he eat if you offer him food or a treat?
