A question...
So I made my SOTW sig originally in JPG quality just because it looked better, then I found out how to do animtions in Photoshop, but only as a GIF. When I save the file (export) as a GIF, it looks AWEFUL... Halp.

is the GIF the same dimensions as the Jpeg?
/limited knowledge |
...yes? Dunno.
Some things just look like total crap in GIF or JPG. Animations only work in GIF though. D: |
well, when I was working on the siggy thing v and making it as an animation, it too looked like crap. It got really blurry and looked bad.
Then I realized that the program had modified the GIFs dimensions so the image quality was warped. You could look at that I guess. edit- you could try the program I used, PhotoScape. It's good for simple GIFs. edit 2:- I dunno how it is in Photoshop(if that's what you're using) but in the editors I use, when I save a new file, there's an indicator to save it at a default lower quality *80% default. Maybe it accidentally saved in lower qual. |

All my settings are 100%. D: I don't care about file size! D< |
Oh where do you download Photoscape I've been working on a GIf sig, but Photoshop is not working well with me...Is it free?
|
-Puts simply- Gif images have limited color range..... thus pictures with high resolution and 32 bit color will not work well in a gif.... Sorry <.< though there is some software I've found that will convert it better than photoshop.

Kk cool I'll transfer the file on to there. Casue for some reason I cant save the file as a GIf only as a PSD.
Hope it works. |
You dont use photoshop for gifs you use ImageReady there should be a button on your toolbar to send the image to ImageReady :D. It just depends on which version you use is all.
