[Poll] Best Build for Soloing
If I missed any builds, just post :D
If you're willing, PLEASE do list why you think the build you chose is best for soloing! |
I put 1:1 Str:End, because clerics have such crappy DMG.
Their HP is a little low, so that could use improvement. SPR is super useful for the 5% crit rate. |
Thanks hyper
if anyone has anymore votes, that would be great :D |
I used to do 1:2 STR:END and it worked out pretty well. I believe that END is an important stat seeing that it increases your HP, Defense AND block rate. Plus, if you do party and one or two (or more) mobs happen to come after you... you do not want to be a squishy Cleric.
But if you plan on soloing most of the time... 25 SPR and rest STR can work out. You will probably kill relatively fast and you do have Heal to make up for your lack of defense/HP. Just make sure you max out its cooldown and carry a few pots for emergency. You never know when you get mobbed or someone runs you over with a train. |
I think I'll either do 1:2 STR:END or 2:1 STR:END... right now I have:
+2 STR +7 END +3 SPR ^ According to those stats, what do you guys think I should do? |
Full STR.
I only get 19 bonus defense 38 points in END, and the shield block rate is low enough still that it is practically negligible. Furthermore, I don't think the bonus HP matters that much when you can heal yourself. |
i guess u'll want to get as much dmg as u could when u solo... so 25 SPR for crit rate and rest STR for dmg...
considering u should be fighting 1 mob at a time and u can heal urself... maybe u dont need a lot of END... esp when clerics are better off fighting lower level mobs rather than higher level mobs for exp (soloing a red-named mob will take u ages) |

Question 1: The problem is, it would take me to lv. 30 to get 25 SPR since I already have 7 points in END and 2 in STR =/ WHAT SHOULD I DO?? Question 2: When you take the 10 points (using the lv. 30 Quest reward - 10 Stat Reset Scrolls) from a stat(s), can you put the 10 points you took into another stat(s)? |

The following statement is coming from a mage's perspective, and is shared by others as well: As a mage, I now have 87 points in INT, yielding a bonus of 104 damage damage per hit. An associate of mine has compounded the data in Excel, and has derived the conclusion that the bonus damage which results from the 5% critical bonus that is the result of 25 points in SPR simply does not counterbalance the damage over an extensive period of time. In layman's terms: Given: Critical rates are random, time is unlimited. Damage of full INT > Full INT + 25 SPR. This is assuming if you have no costumes on. The results may be different if you factor costumes, but it won't make much of a difference. I recognize that clerics do half the damage of a mage per hit, but that's 30 extra damage you lose if 25 points go to SPR. And 30 damage is a lot per hit when you only do 400 on an orc at level 60 with a maximized orc license. Don't you love statistics? And yes, you may allocate the points into any stat you choose. |
Thanks bro, so you think Full STR for life? :P
And man it sucks that Cleric's hit so low... glad I got my Fighter!:D |
