Teva, Uruga, Elderine, Ancient Elvin Woods under seige

Recently, an exploit has been found in the game chat. This is being used to disconnect people within a certain area.

Fortunately and unfortunately the people who commit these acts do so under a freshly levelled account. Meaning they do not have the ability to shout - otherwise we would be toast.

If you are within the viscinity of the chat then you will be disconnected.

Uruga, Elderine and the Ancient Elvin Woods have confirmed "exploiters" crashing everyones clients at the moment.

Try and steer clear of these maps as much as possible for the time being.

Thanks for the warning! O___O"

Although I haven't even been to FoS since I was Lv49... xD And in AEW I just farm sap/kill Red Trumpys.

i dont think outspark will take care of it, hey, they only care about CS

I don't think they will ignore this ^^;; They could lose a lot of members over this.

So, if you walk near one of these people just talking, you get disconnected? How does that work? Thats a pretty bad bug.

It is a hack and they do have control over that. I think they will correct this if they possibly can.

Hyper 02-18-2008 03:51 PM

When the hell did it happen? And how?

Aren't there really only bugs after patching, but they patched a while ago and it was fine...

@Spirit: This game is pretty much unhackable. o: Outspark are the only ones who can change the game. Except for what Ghostly did... Dunno how that works.

secbro20 02-18-2008 03:53 PM

I guess this was just recently found then.

Yosei 02-18-2008 04:05 PM

Yeah, during the past week a few people have had this problem. There's a couple threads on it on the main forums,
