Odds of enchantments
Hello - I would like to start a thread on item enchantment best practices - that is, what has worked for you? Goal is to find a good approach to limit the number of BREAKS (uggh!!!), wasted material and wasted SC on Golds, Reds and Blues.
Best responses include - level of item, level of enchanter, title of enchanter (if you have one), items used and success / failure rate. There IS a process that determines the probability of success, otherwise the % increase from special stones (bless / lucky) and need for SC items would be meaningless. My goal (with your help) is to find it... thanks in advance! GR* |
Lol. Wrong section. This goes in... guides?
Roumen Port is for new memers(Which you are one) to make an intro thread. Introduce yourself to FF(Fiestafan). |

Gandalfa82 created a fairly concrete table of all the hardcoded statistics about enhancements. A typical example is the enhancement of a T3 weapon that has a base success probability of x, from using Blessed stones. For up to +3, Blessed Elrue [3] is used: 9% up to +6, Blessed Lix [3]: 8% to +9, Blessed Xir [3]: 4.5% A big fall from Lix to Xir, as is with all the other tiers. This explains why everyone needs more Xir stones than the other two. |

Your idea sound interesting. @ A_For |
Besides it being the wrong are to post in,
Chances of enhancement are about 75% at tier 1. Chances of enhancement are about 64% at tier 2 Chances of enhancement are about 41% at tier 3 Chances of enhancement are about 26% at tier 4 These estimates are WITHOUT enhancement items, Assuming you use a gold, Add 15% to any chance. Numbers might be slightly off, but that's about it. |

Like i said, the numbers could be off, Or different, You know how Outspark likes to scare you into buying enhancers. And as for the t4, I think that's a pretty accurate number, Considering how hard it is to enhance it without reds, and golds, But i digress. |
moved.

With the addition of 'Elrue', and 'first enhance', your above figures are now fairly credible, yup. |
