i've been listening to this song alot lately... it's quite good in my opinion, if you like emo/indie/punk/alternative type stuff.


but im not such a fan of the video since it cuts out some of the song x.x

...why? it's really a good song. creepy video, i admit, but a good song, none the less.

let me guess.. some kind of stupid pop crap or corporate stuff that CALLS itself rock? perhaps rap, which is dying because it's becoming less anti-establishment and becoming the establishment itself?

im rather depressed that this generation has very little music to call its own. we have smashing pumpkins, which is good, and my chemical romance, but nothing like the Beatles, or Iggy Pop, or the Clash, or Nirvana. im grasping for SOME kind of originality in this overly pop world.

Way to knee-jerk, there. I'm a tombonist with a penchant for Dixieland jazz. That would probably be the most I listen to. I also like Gregorian and other liturgical chant. I've always been enchanted by bagpipers and other Celtic folk music. I listen to Zydeco/Cajun music. The occasional opera is nice (think more Callas than Brightman). I also like musical absurdities like Wesley Wills and the Shaggs.

Those are the genres that get the most play on my lists. I don't isolate myself from other genres, they just don't appeal to me all that much. I tend to go for musical ability over lyrics/vocals.

Classical is nice. mozart and beethoven=pwnage. but, as i said in the first post, this is for the punk/emo/goth/grunge/new wave crowd. if that's not your style of music, dont bother listening, because you wont get much from it

no offense, but... ew. i hate that kind of music. pop is nothing more than a bunch of fake, corporate music used to pump millions of dollars into the music industry for artists with zero talent.
