they dont care... so they increased the number of Robo KQs

I'm thankful for the Valentines Day event but too bad I had to buy everything since the only thing I ever managed to get was Mousse Chocolate.

Ooo yay! PvP! Now I can go waste my time by getting my ass kicked and ganged up on!

So what about all the other quests that are bugged?

What cash shop items? Extra EXP? They now use percentages as extra EXP with the highest i've seen being 25% which is practically nothing. Maybe 1.5x EXP at the most.

SEG? I've been to Sand Hill. Its like Burning Hill but with Trees that are ridiculously tough.

Oh yay! Now I can miss even more Robo KQs! Oh wait... Robo sucks. What about Gold Hill? And what about that little notice that popped up when ever a Kingdom Quest was recruiting? Hm? Yeah, thanks to them taking that out I can longer get into any of them.

Patience is a virtue - it is too bad you decided to buy everything early on, because more truffles and king chocos popped up towards the end of the event.

I don't go to the battle grounds often either, but hey, there are heaps of other people out there who find it fun to PvP - so I'd say adding the PvP grounds is not a bad thing at all as it provides entertainment for some people. Can't really satisfy everyone, can we?

At least they're fixing certain quests. I don't know how hard or how simple it is to fix bugged quests, but at least they get some fixed every now and then. Better than not fixing any of them, mirite?

Either you weren't here or you didn't have CS items when we were being compensated, but we all got a double of the CS items we had when we were compensated (i.e. I had an angel set and a santa hat at the time, and I got another angel set and santa hat in my backpack). Btw, 25% increase in exp is probably not alot, but I will welcome that any time. Course, I hope for more increase, but hey, I like to think on the brighter side and say that I could be grinding right now with no exp increase. And apparently it was only Apoline, which I'm sure you played in, had 2x (or 3x? I forgot) exp or something while all the other servers didn't have it, so at least you had a taste of that.

You haven't been to SEG? Great drop rates there. Too bad you haven't visited yet. o-o

That isn't the only method to enter a KQ. I used to rely on the system messages too but now, all I need to do is stare at the "On schedule > Recruiting" change and I get in fine.

What I'm really trying to say is that yes, we do have the right to complain about Outspark, and ask for them to fix stuff and blahblahblah, but if they can get everything fixed straight away, then we would be out of the Beta phase already. I know a picky community may lead to improvement of the game, but eh, Outspark is trying on most aspects.

Outspark is merely using the beta title to say "oop's, but its to be expected, were in BETA!"

When the service involves money, then the product is considered out of the testing phase.

After all you wouldn't buy a car thats labelled "IN TESTING!"

Many people would argue, that because this is not a pay to play service, that the same isn't applied.

But most of the merely forget to realize the fact that they are paying for the services of a cash shop item. The two words "time limited" indicates a service.

Outspark can keep saying we are in a beta, but the blunt fact they have to face is that - with the opening of a cash shop, this is no longer a service in-testing. Now, the GM's may not have anything to do with anything besides the fact they must maintain order.

However, the other outspark employee's, responsible for placing patches onto the patch server, and updating the service as a whole, should be more responsible.

Instead of trusting everything from OnsOnsoft, they should test it first. See if it works. Quality Assurance. If it doesn't, then they could yell at OnsOnsoft before it makes it out to us. Before we feel the effects. Before we begin yelling at outspark.

Its rather simple, and most of the people defending outspark in this thread simply dont get it. Outspark has the ability, and resources, to assure that faulty patches never make it into our system. You guys can say that outspark simply gets the patches. Yes thats true, but its not like it has to be applied.

All it takes is a 1 day test of all the maps, all the character skills by an employee, to find simple mistakes like a bug with a skill, or a gate that shouldn't be there, or a decreased drop rate.

Wow, should they find a problem, well, dont put it out for the public to use. Tell OnsOnsoft they need to fix it, before we roar "FIX IT!!!!!" with angry pitchforks.

Most games are like that <.< I doubt they would officially launch a game when theres still issues. And who cares? Its just a term. It shows Outspark wants to have a problem free official launch.

I dont know how far u can generalise this aspect, people who are are sick and requires new "testing" medications still have to pay for their own drugs...

i'd liked to see this cash shop thing as voluntary to contribution to Outspark's development and as a reward you get what you want to enhance ur gaming experience...

I dont see myself as paying for the service, i'm paying coz i want more dmg on my hammer, look better than my armour, ride faster than a hobby... i dont HAVE to pay anything for this game... i'm merely contributing my spare cash so they can maintain more staff to hopefully improve more...

they can call it beta all they like... just because there's a VOLUNTARY cash shop there doesnt mean they cant hv bugs and issues... we KNOW that there's still a lot to add to this game... it will never be the "full" version for a while... u know the terms and condition and u play with it..

u signed up to be a beta tester too.. our job is to tell them if there's anything wrong with the game as well...

Your keyword is voluntary.

You missed out "coercion."

Low experience rates, low monster counts, very few area's to grind promote the levelling pack.

Experience loss on death, particularily more important for mages, 1% of 12M is 120K. Thats a good 20 minutes of an AOE, or 1 hour of a slow solo. Ding, Ding! Blessing of Teva to the rescue!

Semi-permanent upgrades to "enhance" or should I say "rectify" playing experience promotes the purchase of hp/sp buffs.

I could go on and list a few more prominent aspects about the game that give the subliminal message to buy cash shop items.

Its not quite as "voluntary" as you believe.

But most other mmorpgs are like that. The higher you are, the more exp you lose, the longer it takes to get it back. =/ Yeah, the blessing of teva is very tempting at that level, but still, it's the player alone that decides on whether to buy it or just put up with the exp loss and get it back all over again.

Hessah 02-28-2008 12:11 AM

i dont have to die! u just gotta look after ur own character more...

you can still get by and level in this game without ANY cash shop items.. yes u might be 10 times slower than ppl FULL of cash shop items but just because u're slower doesnt mean u're forced to buy it...

so you suggest that they shouldnt bring out any CS items coz they hvnt got their bugs fixed and no one has a choice to level 10 times faster?

then they'll lose us beta testers much quicker than ever and the game will never improve

MikeyG 02-28-2008 12:19 AM

could this x trap affect other games?
