Another nice experience I had was last night, on my noob Epith archer... Yeah KQ KQ KQ and I was still level 5... Then King Slime... Then tank was stupid and died... Others died as well and warped... I was left with 2 mages and we won... How? One kited the mobs, and me and the other mage would continuously attack... [even if all my attacks missed XD] so yeah we won... I was like, "WTF awesome O.O" Running Lightning Bolt thingeeee FTW [forgot about this thread so wasn't able to post right away XD] |
Okay, when I was level 14, I got a scroll to Uruga, and, being a noob, I used it. I quickly found out that I shouldn't have been there. I was looking for a way out and got into a fight with an Orc and out of nowhere, these four clerics started healing me at the perfect time, and were keeping me alive. Needless to say, the Orc killed me after about 10 seconds, but still. It was funny. Wish I had gotten a screenshot.

Mine was when I first started Fiesta after some months of playing runescape, completely confused XD Then this guy popped up and helped me level up, explained things etc :D Really nice of him. Too bad when I finally found out how to add players to my friendlist, he wasn't on anymore for a long time...:/ Forgot his name now... |
Not really sure if this is a good experience for ME necessarily, but oh well.
I was hanging out in Sand hill when a widdle lvl. 13 fighter came up to me asking me how to get back to Roumen (he called it 'the street). I unfortunately didn't have any return scrolls, so after a failed attempt at giving directions, I decided to take him there myself. We ran to the Burning Hill gate, then died in crossing Burning Hill. ._.'' We re spawned in Elderline, and made our way then through the Sea of Greed to the Beach place (?), then ran to the Roumen gate. I guess it was a lot like the Bodyguard thing, but the kid was really grateful and polite, even if his English wasn't the best. So let that be a lesson to you newcomers, politeness is KEY; insulting a person until they ban-slap you isn't the way to go about doing things. :cheeky: |
the other night I was soloing orcs and stuff and this cleric did a drive by buffing on me.
So I whispered thank you very much that is very kind of you. They say No Problem its nice to actually be thanked ;) I don't think that cleric buffing is appreciated enough. They don't have to do it they just do. So next time you get buffed thank them not just a TY but actually spell it out. say THANK YOU VERY MUCH. they deserve at least that much. I still love the drive by buffing. |
Lol @ Warniing_Shot Whenever I go into Sand Hill there's always 2-3 newbies who decided to use the Sand Hill scroll... with no ways of getting back. I'm just lucky I still have Roumen scrolls on me.
And yes, drive-by buffers are always great. Though at times they go by so fast I don't even have a chance to say thank you let alone catch their names. They're like ninjas... :ninja: |
Hmm...what have I done that's nice...ermm..o__o...I think I helped lower levels on quests such as Mara and Marlone.
|
OHHH YEAHHHH When i needed mara to complete the mara quest a person did that for me. It was great. Would have never been able to do it alone.
