The beachboys have a west-coast style of songwriting, and usually center their songs along the beach. The Beatles have a more trippy vibe all their own, and center their ideas around abstract concepts. The only similar SOUNDING song they have to the Beach Boys is "Back in the U.S.S.R.".

Though i suppose the argument could be made that Lady Gaga sings about card games, and katy perry talks about sexual experimentation...

Saying lady gaga sounds like katy perry, is like saying beachboys sounds like the beatles.

No, i do. i understand that you see some difference in their music, but there really isnt too much of a discernible change in between their styles, is what im trying to say.
