George Orwell FTW. Animal Farm and 1984 are about different things and have different themes though, plus they're written differently, so you can't really compare them...

If you like books describing totalitarian societies, I'd suggest Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. And maybe Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. |
