I thought I would sell all my lantern souls, but I have reconsidered and will try to get the pumpkin first.

I put a HWR on my fighter and went to Burning Hill to kill Marlone Clan Soldiers and Marlone Captains who were red to me and I only got 4 in an hour

ALSO, if people don't know already
the lanterns are edible. they regen hp and sp. how much and for how long I don't know though.

I think generally for quest items like these, its best to kill yellow mobs...

Why go after red monsters? I thought if they were red the droprate went to hell. I was slaughtering yellow monsters. ::shrug::
