what I dont get is why would they write that down and publicise it to make themselves sound bad? or is that something tri wrote him himself, pretending to be Outspark? that's why i asked where he got it from |

Yup. Here it is: Q&A: Outspark gets 11m, talks "Virtual Playground" |
Lol! Triumph's quote was copied word for word without any alterations, and outspark DID say that! o.O

What outspark is doing is the equivalent of Microsoft charging us $20 USD an update. Most people would find that detestable, but the question is, why doesn't anyone confront outspark directly. They remove features (permanent) available in other versions of the game. They give them back over priced. We arent that far behind Shine Online, Bright Kingdom, and Korean Fiesta. That excuse doesn't really apply anymore when we talk about mounts that you can purchase from NPC's. |

the difference is Microsoft has already charged you upfront... when you bought the software... while outspark is pay as you go XD (and voluntarily too.. you dont have to pay if you dont want to) you are more than welcome to quit and not play this game... while you cant really just ditch your newly bought window Vista coz you've already spent hundreds on it, just to find that its not compatible with almost every other specialising programs |

Microsoft is actually making an effort to fix their software. Even though some are failed attempts, if you look at the Knowledge base download center, there are hundreds of updates, each spanning within the timeframe of 2 weeks. Some even days after the last patch rolled out. Hence the difference. Sure you payed possibly up to 800 or 900 dollars buying the operating system. Your not being charged to recieve the updates. Customer support is at the top of their list. Outspark, and I'm afraid hessah you have the wrong mentality a bit, has a half-complete game littered with bugs. To make that worse they are customizing the game such that it becomes almost essential to buy these cash shop items. I suggest, before supporting this view about "enhancing game experience" through the voluntary (although the term coerced fits better) purchase of cash shop items, you play a level 60+ mage with no Blessing of Teva. Once you do, I think you'll be more inclined to see the truth behind it.... |
i really dont see why u're still playing this game when u think they're so bad

Don't you love the goodies I find? O_o
The difference between Microsoft and Outspark is vast, actually. Microsoft programs its own content, and releases updates for free. This is done largely because Microsoft sells enormous licenses to corporations, thus generating vast income. I believe their income stands right now as $51 billion US dollars in the 2007 calendar year. Despite their software being easily manipulated, they have begun an annoying campaign protect those individuals who are not as apt with their cyber defenses, or firewalls. Outspark, however, purchases licenses from Asian corporations. They are able to charge whatever they want for the cash shop, because they are the ones paying for the license. They claim that they are acting as a "joint partnership," but I fail to see how this is so. It appears more that Outspark spends its requests to have certain things restricted, while making nearly every single cash shop item limited with respect to time. By restrictions, I mean in terms of skill and ease of leveling. For example: Clerics lack Extinguish (GM Silkypico's favored attack in the GM wars yesterday) and Break (Similar to Bash and Bleed/Trip) for skills. Mages lack Thunder Bolt (lightning AoE similar to Inferno and Frost Nova) and Spirit Tap (tap SP for HP). Archers lack Annihilating Shot (double damage) and Nature's Wrath (immobilizing). Fighters don't lose out much. I think the only two they lack out of their complete set of skills is Berserk and Shockwave. But Shockwave is a level 87 skill, so technically that can't be counted as a loss. Furthermore, leveling is a pain. No 7x Battleground, limited map, heavy congestion...and experience isn't even good. |
