Also, since he said that his News post about it was archived and not deleted I looked through there just for the heck of it. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it's not in the archives either. Unless he's talking about some other archive that people can't readily access, but then why would they move it there and remove it from normal archives?

if it was archived to somewhere that us normal users cant read then that's the same as deleting it!

That was a rather nice reply for us. I didn't really fancy the tone he spoke to us in, he sounded like he was really annoyed (which he probably is), but he didn't have to speak like that. Can't really blame us for reacting like this if they don't tell us what's going on. Especially when they are archiving threads into the non-existent section. =[

I never got compensation either. I have been using the Cash Shop since it opened as well and I was supporting them nicely too. Unless I missed something I have never received a single item from them.

If in fact they did compensate... then did they just pick and choose random people to do so? Furthermore, since it has been going around in the forums if everyone was compensated then wouldn't the GMs have posted something about it? If they did really do what they say they would, they would have no problems saying they did compensate and gave ___ item to each person.

As of today, my guild members who have used the cash shop for timed items in the past are reporting that they are getting additional items appearing in their premium item bags (houses, suits etc)
