It gets irritating at times- the favortism.. and its not as small as it used to be but alot of people on here are close and dont see it as well as some people would. Or they just flat out ignore it.

I see bambies view cause honestly I agree with her on it but others makes sense too x-x
And this lil argument is getting... a bit out of hand D:
Though everytime favortism is brought up people get tense and makes me think of how a cat acts when it's been cornered. Comes back with teeth and claw. (Meow?)

But some of the requested things to be done isnt hard at all or time consuming. Really it isnt D: if you think about it.
Since lets see theres about 2-7 enteries usually in one of these and about 1-2 min spent on each to make sure names cant be seen or putting it to a different photobucket (You dont have to save to computer to do this) changing name of the image so it cant give away the person.

Not as small as it used to be????? How are you guys even quantifying this? And you guys have yet to actually show any instances of favoritism to the rest of us that are "blind".

It's not so much the favoritism issue that's bothering me as much as the way that Amber is going about this, saying things without really saying anything. She's saying, "There's favoritism on this board! You guys can't see it. But there is. But I can't show any of you guys either because you guys are all friends and I don't fit it."

=.="""

Please. Today's Sunday. If I wanted drama, I would watch TV tonight.

I already said this;
SOTW is one example of favoritism.

Only like 2 times though. Lol

Ralath 04-26-2009 10:23 PM

And yet, you haven't said ONCE how that is favoritism.

Great.

We now know that you think SOTW is an example of favoritism. What are we supposed to do about it?

Loveless 04-26-2009 10:23 PM

So what does SOTW have to do with SSOTW? Run by different people too.

Yami 04-26-2009 10:24 PM

Voting is done by members, in both contests. So that is similair.

Hraesvelg 04-26-2009 10:24 PM

Why are they examples of favoritism? You merely keep asserting that they are. In what manner do you think the contests are not being conducted correctly?

Who else is going to vote for it then?

Yami 04-26-2009 10:29 PM

That's not my point. My point is that because in both cases members can vote (which can be the same members, I dunno cos I haven't checked) therefore the favouratism can occur in both contests.

Hraesvelg 04-26-2009 10:31 PM

Which makes it less open to those factors coming into play. Can you imagine how it would be if the mods/admins picked all the winners? Then you might have a point.
