The bear wasn't eating a vegetable. The bear was eating fruit. The only reason the bear let that crow go was because the crow pecked the bear on the nose. That's why the bear shaked it's head. Take what we need? Are you referring to the food? What's wrong with storing food to save it for later?

Wow I didn't even see the pecking nose part untiL I watched it in slow mo. That's why the bear didn't turn back.. maybe it'd turn into something more cute like the bear looking after it if the crow didn't peck him!

Also the bear looks really small. Wonder if it's a young one.
