And my dad ended up screwing my windows shut when I was growing up. Strange thing was, it was to keep me out, not in. I left my keys at home one time and broke into my house through my bedroom window. He freaked, because he said if I could break in, then anyone could. The thing is though, if I hadn't already pried the screen loose and kept my windows unlocked for easy quiet opening, then I would have never been able to break in. :D
Problem was easily solved by purchasing a small (easily concealed) screwdriver to keep in my room.
This! This is why I have aged so much!! I tell you, she was a handful and a major challenge. I was never so happy as the day she became legally answerable for her own actions and I was out of the risk of a liability lawsuit for my delinquent child (who I truly truly tried to keep from being a Billy-bad-ass delinquent)!

Still means the same thing. Kick butt no matter what or face the wrath of momma. I was too scared to lose.
