Calm thyself, Jenna/O-mie/Fable/It?/O-zilla.

They need to be able to keep the bread they make on the table.

Yeah thats true... not honorable, but true.

Calm people don't care about things though, and therefore don't really voice their opinions. And apparently my reputation gave you another bar in that reputation thing. O_o

In any event, they need to be able to sustain themselves and dependents. Offending people who pay you is probably not the best thing to do. >_>

Calm people can voice their opinions... existentialists dont care about things. Omie doesnt seem like an existentialist.

Yes, calm people can. That's undermining my point, shh.

She definitely is an existentialist, though.

*Awaits violent protest*

Calm people do care about things. If I didn't care, I'd be a robot =o or a pessimist. What was that quote... "IF I did not dream, nothing would become a reality."

And actually pritcher's did I think xD; his was after yours. who knows =o

Anyhow, I'm just saying that it should be equal. Its really only a big deal because conservative, senile, war-mongering old men who like to pretend to nail themselves to crosses each night run our country. Sad but true. And I was kind of raised to actually care about what goes on around me =P Since it does affect me even if not directly.

Triumph 12-10-2007 01:20 AM

It depends on where you live.

I don't think President Bush would do that to himself.

I think you're confusing existentialism with nihilism, but I'm not an authority on either so who knows.

As for calm people not voicing their opinions, that isn't true. It's just that calm people voices are drown out by not-so-calm people shouting over them.

It wouldn't surprise me if he did. The man tries to read books upside down, peer through binoculars with lens covers on them, wave to blind people, and blink a radical amount of times in very limited timeframe.

But anyways, I'm from the west coast, california primarily, and I honestly have not noticed people thinking its a big ordeal with same gender things, unless they're religious nutcases.

Triumph 12-10-2007 01:27 AM

An existentialist feels that people interpret or create their own meanings to life.

A nihilist believes that basically existence is meaningless.

@Pritcher: Of course. In every conflict, the liberals and radicals drown out the moderates. As of now, the United States is appealing to the moderates in Iraq in order to soothe things over.
