OK, I think I have a bug in the Harpoon Lagoon Tourney. It is showing the other side as advancing to the finals, but nothing for the match between myself and pigspark. I'm pretty sure I won, and I would hate to lose my first tourney to someone who hasn't played a game yet but made the finals.

Sorry about the link - also, I believe time has run out on the round, so it should have kicked into the next round.

People are allowed 7 days to complete each turn, not 7 days for 3 plays altogether. If he played today (indicated by the scoreboard), he has another 7 days to complete his next go.

If he was disqualified, the scoreboard would have said so.

OK, thanks for the info. That kinda bites, though. I rushed to get my last turn in tonight when I could have gone a few more days. Oh well, I hope he doesn't drag it out......

pigspark should be through, unless he didn't play all 5 games. I know it says 5/5, but I played only 4 and it says 5/5 for me too. So.. is it bugged or not? o_o

More than likely he did not play all 5 of his games. Even if you have the higher score, if you do not play within the alloted number of days, it disqualifies you. Looks like that is what happened with him.

Personally I don't find that fair. Not just the fact that a higher score could be DQ'd because of inactivity but because of how the system could be played.

Suppose you have two people in a game in which whoever spends the most time playing will win(I.E. it's neigh impossible to lose).

So the first person plays and gets a score and the next person beats it and so on.

Now let's say person A has played 4/5 rounds to reach a good score to win. The person B plays the 4th round just so he won't get DQ'd and to have(if neither play) person A need to play before him.

Basically if one person has a lower score but doesn't have to play before the other person he could just wait until one got DQ'd...In this sense people would wait the entire round back and forth making one tourney last a month.

But duration really isn't the point here is it? He would have been given a reminder after 3 days. If he wasn't going to be able to log on, he should have completed his games.

I don't agree with it either, but it is how the program is set up. Not even Entropy can change it.

And some people have made tournaments last forever by doing that. Each one is hoping the other one will forget and get disqualified.

Unfortunately, it is not something we can change.

Well it is possible to change it(I know because I've run forums before). But you are right it's not easy..Oh well it's only a tourney xD

It will say that once it disqualifies you even if you have not.

But, it is an automatic system that disqualifies you and not something that we can change. So, we will not be able to change it, sorry.

I switched the players around so you get to be in the "finals". Unfortunately that also made it look as though NDFP87 was supposed to proceed but... we know that you were the one with the higher score initially so it's cool HAHA.

During the pool jam tourney, the 3 times I tried to set a score, it logged out and set the score to 0, I got eliminated from the tourney a couple days ago... some time around 2/17

For pool jam, you have to be permanently logged in, or it will always kick you out without a score registering. I didn't know it did that for tournament matches, though.

how do u log on permanently?

There is a box next to your name when you log in. It says "remember me?" Check it, then finish logging in.
