The site is back up, however I haven't seen anything new.

Try going to Forums/Download.

It only has a "Home" hyperlink.

I do have a godly computer. :D I'll make a new NWN character and then play Oblivion then. Wheee.

they arent, the site is getting hit so hard that it times out sometimes when it wants to load the database so you get some error.

I'm getting that same thing. Means that work is being done for sure. I'm so pumped to play!!!!

It was assumed because taht was when it was suppose to be released on Friday.

their forum is screwed. stop visiting their site. makes it a little easier on them.

I hope they have different databases for forum as for the game otherwise we might lose our accounts :p

Editing a site or forums doesnt give MySQL errors unless they are noob at making websites

Maybe you didn't notice when it was back online a few minutes ago, but they changed some bottons and took the download page off. I don't think too many hits could do that.

It is not lagging. The database in inaccessible. I can't log into any page that has content from the database. Only the headers and other layers are visible.

Also, for the first time since before CB2 opened I am getting a "You are not authorized or are not invited to participate in Closed Beta" message when attempting to run the launcher program.

I am hoping that this means they are in the process of loading the new improved database and game environment. I assume from the message above that a new client will be required, as well.

I think hackers will be very happy with that information...

I got passed the Outspark launcher like 15 mins ago. Now it says I am not authorized to participate in the Closed Beta too. I think that means they're changing something! :P

Kay, I guess someone pulled the plug on the database, cause it is not resonding to anything, not even standard ping requests.

I agreed with Yosei.

Prob there wasn't enough stress/load testing done on the server.
Now it couldn't handle the 100% users load. The outspark staff had to take the server down to prevent it from crashing.

;) I'm sure we will get to play once they have resolved the issues.
