Your comment agrees with what I been saying Tequila, so I do not get what you are trying to object. Like you said in higher KQ's they use both Clerics and Warriors to hold agro, and it seems like you agree with me if there's a shield warrior, that shield warrior would be best suited to hold the agro. Bottom line, of course nothing is invincible, but when someone says invincibility > then taunt, i think that statement is bullshit. Simply because there is a need and use for taunt that will help aid in tanking. If one class lacks that skill then that means that he is not the best tank he can be. He could be a good tank but not the best. Furthermore, if you are raiding a boss monster, in most cases, you want the boss to be in a fixed position for as long as possible. You do not want it running around wildly chasing mages or archers. So I do not get your logic in saying "Oh yeah, and aggros, if they decide to chase a mage will attack clerics if the clerics heal the mage.." I definitely do not want to be in your group Niion because you will probably run KQ's really innefficiently. Watch and game more Niion, you will see the use of taunts and shield warriors in Higher KQ's. Tequila, I can see he understands.

-Remember I am in no way downing on the cleric class. I myself am a Cleric and I believe because of their versitility, are probably the best class. However to do KQ's most efficiently it is best to have a diverse group. IE: Warrior, Cleric, MAge, Archer.

Taunt > Invincible. Imo.

heh, alright everyone. Instead of Taunt > Invincible or Invincible > taunt lets all agree that there is a need and use for every class. Taunt and warrior skills are very helpful in KQ, as Clerics buff and Def skills are also helpful. Now you put Warrior and Clerics together, adding a large damage Mage then you will have a successful KQ run. A Diverse party is always best for KQ runs.

I'd just like to add a little something in from my experience. Everything is useless except for strength and dexterity. You don't need END because you can heal yourself. You don't need SPR because you already get plenty of SP. I'm not going to bother explaining INT. DEX is minor, but still helps because Clerics do plenty of soloing. I solo monsters that are deep red to me, (Hobs, Baby Werebears, Ghosts, ect.), and I used to miss quite often until I got my +11 DEX hammer. The STR helps your damage keep up with the warriors.

But I guess if you just want to heal and support (boring imo), sure pump SPR and END. ;)

Actually, instead of saying Taunt > Invincible or Invincible > Taunt.... Why can't u use both together? I always cast Invincible on the Fighter instead on me because he does more damage and can use taunt. All i have to do is just to keep recasting invincible on him while i keep myself alive.

I personally like a 4end 1spr build. Might be doing that in open beta. I tried a 4str 1 end build and find that i do really pathetic damage overall anyway. So I'm gonna try to lean towards supporting others when open beta begins.

I intend to go solo most of the time, just pt when I feel bored so what I should pump? End>Str or Str>End?

...............*long pause*...if ive said this once ive said it a million times.. but once again let me stress this....you do not NEED SPR divinity does it all....if your dmg was pathetic with 4str1end you were obviously doin something wrong...and if you are saying that because you arent hittin 100s at lvl whatever....its simple you arent a mage you are a melee class we simply dont have that luxury...even with a high end build my dmg is far from pathetic..as for goin support unless you have a friend whos gonna tank you everyday you wont enjoy it parties will get thin no one will need you buy second job change cept for KQs...so lvling will be a bit rough

@cyrusvn end>str for solo build...End is way more important to raise then Str Clerics jus dnt have the Hp that fighters have...and later on quite a few of the mobs will drop your shield so fast it'll make you dizzy..so while its charging back up you need your HP and Def to pretty much stay alive.

Yea, and i'm pretty sure there will be stat resets :P So if you go one stat build, then you can end up resetting and goin full support at high end - if that ever happens thats what i'm planning on doing. I pumped Spr thought it was like most games where it sorta helps... but yea... found out its nothing special after finding out about Divinity. I rerolled a char cause well... yea i just did and I made him go 2/1 end:str talkin with Tequila about a few things he told me why it was good and whatnot. And now I heal like a beast and do some notsobad damage :p
