Ichigo needs to stop getting his butt kicked.

ichigo sucks, i dont get how he beats Kenpachi or anyone else.
Every shinigami except Ichigo, have their power surpressed to only 1/15th of their power, so every shinigami but ichigo is fighting with 1/15th of their power. It's talked about at the part where Matsumoto, Renji, and Toshiro got permission to use Limit Release to fight full power. And on the first fight between Ichigo n Kenpachi, Kenpachi said his eye patch sucks on his energy, taking away more power.

I could argue that Ichigo is still inexperienced with combat, as the captains are decades ahead of him in terms of training and such. I have no doubt that Ichigo's rate of evolution exceeds any of the captains.

And I also suppose it isn't simply about power in mangas like these. You'll notice Ichigo throughout the anime Ichigo's powers extend to protect his friends. It's the driving moral of the manga really. The author wouldn't be able to let that morality or sense of hope die, even against obviously stacked odds, or else the core of the anime would collapse.

This is supposed to be his arc but there have been like 3 episodes with him at most. Kinda lame.

I want to see his Bankai though....Just to see it once.
