At like 14+ it's time to let the kids see the world for themselves.

Yes, at 12 he does not need to be exposed to what some people deem appropriate on this forum. Even at 13, I will still have a problem with some of the things he might see in here.
However, although I am protective, I am not naive and I know he needs/will be/has been exposed to certain things. I have already talked with him about a lot of the things he needs to know. But, letting him know about certain things and letting him be exposed to some of the conversations that take place here is two totally different things.

Yeah, more so if he sees MY posts... XD

I know I did things my parents wouldn't want me to do around that age. I was immensely curious about porn, so I tried to get around the internet security and find it lmao. Now I don't find it interesting at all anymore.

Yes, some of your posts do make me raise my eyebrows. But, it is up to you and/or your parents to make that decision for you.
But, I can say as a mother, that I would be horrified if I came onto a forum and read some of your posts and realized it was my child that wrote it, lol.
But, at the same time, I remember being 14 and sitting in the gym discussing similiar things, lol. However, I never put them down in words so that someone had proof that I said it. So, when I make decisions about my child, I try to think back to when I was his age. I also realize that somethings are different for boys and girls.

I think kids tend to act different when their parents are not around and can see how they act.
I also think that sometimes kids act a certain way to seem cool for thier friends, but that they are not really that way.

My opinion.
