I meant to say that in a kq every class is good for something, and if they go do crazy stunts and try to play hero very often it is resulting in a failure. This topic was started by Angel who stated that 2 clerics in KQ refused to party with people, heal, rev, and buff. THAT is where i have a problem.

In KQ if there is a limited number of clerics 2-3 than the cleric should be more concentrated on healing and reving, if your party doesn't get hurt try supporting another party with a heal. The end fighter using 1h and shield in KQ is good for tanking and aggroing mobs of the more fragile players, seeing a end 1h/shield fighter trying to play dps is totally stupid lolz XD. As well as seeing a mage going in right next to the boss trying to tank.

Every player has the right to do whatever he wishes and usually i don't blame my cleric if i die which hardly ever happens even if i do have a cleric, BUT if i do see that the cleric is more concentrating on attacking a target while i spam my pots and stones than again there is a problem and u bet i'm gonna bitch at him/her :D.

In KQ it is very important for every player to know what he needs to do (unless the people going in are very strong and able to do even with a bunch of people goofing around) so everything goes smoothly. One person pulling stuns can lead to the death of lots and lots of people.

If I see someone in my pt is taking dmg I'll immediately change to heal mode.

If the KQ is limited in clerics (2 or 3) then I also believe that I should have to throw some heals at the main tank. ^^

KQ is meant for people to come together, work as a team, and get something done. If they can't do that... or feel like trying to be a hero when you know you can't... then stop. Get out of the KQ and be a hero against the Legendary tree ^^

And those stupid people who think that their character, even built exactly the same as other people, is somehow better than the other people's... and then they go off and try to solo. pisses me off >.>;

Oh... but I know that in Spider 1 tank leeched the whole time, the other went afk randomly... and we had archers trying to tank all 4 miners. I wasn't trying to be the hero... but I hit T3 VIT/DEF T2 Aim, and then chain cast, AoE heal.

Needless to say that was able to pull aggro on everything to me... the other clerics were giving me heals, and I was able to tank the miners long enough for the DPS to get things going... as long as I was spam healing myself xD

That was about to be the worst epic almost fail Spider KQ (Spider never fails) :3

Although Im new, I cuaght on quick and have ran into the same thing in the mara pirate KQ. Everyone ran and didn't even bother to kill everything, they kept running and none of the clerics bother healing they kept running or fighting when they absolutely had to, I died thrice and was like man gotta be noobs! Im new but I figured out from the first KQ we did which was successful that having a cleric or mage follow the fighters and archers to heal them costantly is a great strategy. To bad they don't get it :(

^ You don't have to bother killing everything o.O. But yeah, other than that, you're right.

Eh, as far as it goes, if the cleric can keep the party alive AND deal damage at the same time then I have no complaints. But it's when the cleric go crazy whacking at the mob and totally forgets about everything else that irritates me. If they intend to do that then I rather solo or add another DD into my party that will deal far more damage than the cleric.

Also, I usually solo in spider KQ BECAUSE there are incompetant people that either a) can't tank at all b) can't heal for his life or c) don't do anything at all. So why should I party them and let them leech through the KQ while I waste my t3 scrolls/pots and stones?

I'm a cleric, and I love it!

But, I am annoyed when there's more than one cleric to one party, leaving another with none. I'm barely level 20, yet I've seen this happen a lot. If there's another cleric in my party, and they are doing a good job of healing, I'll shout asking if any party doesn't have a cleric and needs one. I usually get a reply, and only rarely will I get no response from anyone. I like the teamwork on KQ's and want everyone to continue working together instead of fighting over clerics and occasionally fighters (I've seen it happen.)

It also really annoys me when clerics fight when there's hurt players in the party. I fight when all my party members have 100% HP, no lower, and are not tanking or being mobbed. I don't attack bosses, though. No cleric ever should, unless clanking. Clerics are a SUPPORT CLASS. Really, though, the only I fight at all is because it kind of feels like I'm leeching by not helping fight. :P That's just a personal thing, though. I know I'm not leeching if I'm healing, but it just feels like it. ^_^

Keep that mind-set.

Few enough people in that level-bracket who even think to heal other people in KQs. That's what happens in OBs I guess.

After a polite request - that went ignored, I'll admit I handled the situation in an dissatisfactory manner. I could've killed the King Kong Phinoflie - which I brought to the brink of death. After requests from two decent individuals who were also without clerics, I ceased.

Now I know not all clerics are like this. There are many good ones out there. But I just cant help wondering whats going through their heads.

Most Clerics get yelled at all the time.. so they jsut leave you to die if your yelling "HEAL ME!" because they;re just fed up of being heal slaves.. i get it when i play my cleric... and just p***** me off.... Excuse the swearing 8-)
