I think a reason alot of people do this is because they want a challenge. Some people find grinding 300m xp to be a challenge I'm shamefully one of them lol. You can say the mmo world and real life are too different things but they basically work on the same principles some people enjoy being the best or being the first to do something most of the time for silly reasons but hey different strokes for different folks.

As for the issue with people who get bored and complain and quit its because Fiesta as far as taking care of the players who do reach cap fails miserably at it. They dont have anything offered to them. Sure after you hit 79 you can go recruit more guildies or farm items or make new characters BUT you end up doing the samethings over and over again which is why people get bored. To keep high level players in a game MMOs generally offer them something to do other then remaking characters. There have been steps in the right direction with that BUT still a long way to go. The few high level players that do stay through this are generally involved or well known people in the best thing Fiesta has going for it the COMMUNITY*the good parts anyways* which is why the majority of you still play because even after 2 CB's and 3 new servers being added the community is still for the most part really good.

Oooh, for the 'legend' grinder your right. xD /awesome reading comprehension skills

I know one of the 79ers, and she just played Fiesta all the time since sheonly works for half the year. No school, I guess? But Fiesta is just a lifestyle for some people. No work, no school, just gaming.

I don't think it's really that fun to grind to level cap instantly just to be the first. That means you pretty much grinded everywhere and got almost everything, and you might get spammed whispered by noobs to ask for Plvl.
BUT! I do think it is worth it if you are a PvP addicted like me. I don't grind nonstop though, I have a life instead of some people that grinds to level cap instantly.

To be quite honest the majority of the people who are quitting are those from lvl 60-70...I hardly know anyone who is lvl 70+ that quit after cap (besides patch/cirno/abandon i miss them *cries*) To make things more simple, the majority of the people who quit have been playing this game since OB or even before. I know myself have been playing since CB2 and there isn't THAT much difference in content from CB to OB. Sure, we have Battle zone and pvp zone now, and sure we have new skills..but over all, I find it no different from when i was lvl 30 than it is now at lvl 6x. Those of us "old" players have been thru it all, seen it all, killed it all, done everything and anything that everyone can think of, died millions of times for the sake of enjoyment, when it comes down to the bottom line....repetitiveness is boring..lol,

On a side note, it took me 2months to get 65-66, and 1 month to get 66-67 =)
Can chu beat that!! lol

I think Hyper beat u on that last bit.. he took forever to get from lvl 50 - 51 LOL!

This might be getting a little bit off topic... but referring to wat Meek said, I guess SOME higher level people cant see the challenge in the game anymore...

if you go back to some really old threads, ppl are discussing about how to approach Mara KQ, and talking about strategies and stuff...

nowadays, its not the strategy coz its something "everyone should know already" but rather it's how to counter and react when idiots acts stupid...

i guess that goes for higher levels, as KQ are starting to get repetitive and battleground is the same... and stuff...

Maybe being the 1st to get to the top means u experience everything 1st, and not hving other ppl tell you what you should do, but rather discover it for themselves...?
