Nice guess but no...

So you've done programming before? Great! Now try developing an entire game then localizing a few hundred thousand lines of text in a different language for 5 different countries hoping that the other country understands you. Don't forget that the developer has to manage different content for each country.

For such problems, there is software like subversions. And the best? its opensource and can be used for free.

I believe it was done by hand (This was before I started). But like stated above ^^ (few hundred thousand lines of text). Understand that when Outspark acquired the game, it needed to be translated. At that time, Outspark only had 2-3 employees capable of translating the game in a span of about 1-2 months. Company was a startup with no money so it needed to be done fast.

And why aren't u proofreading now?
Also why weren't the translators correctly informed? There are a lot of bugs
because the "tags" in QuestDialog were plainly wrong, or incorrectly translated.

Please have logical sense with your negative comments towards our company.

If u guys don't have enough know how to fix and bugs, and OnOnSoft just likes to be late, why don't u ask people in the community? We are not all a bunch of kids.

then if SKiNG said Angellic is right, Outspark should hire people who are actually able to engineer softwares, programs properly and not create more problems when trying to fix them.

I think that's one of the jobs they have available~

yepyep, just hire a good software/program engineer, problems solved.

I'm sure there are enough CS players to support hiring them... if it gets things fixed I'll keep supporting too.

I assume that the 5 versions (countries) are probably Korean, Japan, China, NA (Outspark) and wat use to be GameNGame server...

If they dont make different version for each country, say they only ever had the Korean Server.. then we would never have known that this game existed and be able to play it....

I REALLY hope they fix that. I *kinda* know how to fix it myself, but I don't want to because I'm afraid I'll be breaking the TOS ><

Loveless 04-07-2008 02:38 AM

When you think about it though... if players are able to fix it or even see it in the files the exact mistake... it really shouldn't take so long to fix these sort of things. Especially these minor bugs like quests. :/
