When you add the physique to the stick figure, do you use a see-thru paper (however you call it) to draw the physique over the stick? Or draw on the same paper as the stick then erase the stick once the physique is done?

Well I was using photoshop hehehe, but when I sketch on real paper - I use a lumograph blue pencil (its color is used in animation, when you scan it doesn't pick it up) and then I go over it in a HB pencil. x3 Those leads are very expensive though - the blue ones. However if you're serious about pencilling I highly suggest picking them up, a lead holder up, and a lead pointer up. x3 Staedtler has some nice ones, the ones I use =D

And zotius - oh well. >_>

I use a light pencil like H to draw everything first, so it looks all messy. Then i take a 2B and retrace the parts i want carefully. I don't have such equipment like Omie's :(.

But sometimes, even with a tablet, I find that I can't draw very smooth lines often unless I draw it quickly. If I draw it slowly it becomes all wiggly and stuff. D:

Yeah I have that problem too, sometimes it depends on your tablet. If its a knock-off tablet they tend to skip a lot, but i still have problems with my wacom at times. Sometimes drawing close up will diminish the squiggly lines~
