Haha, yeah, true when I was a kid. As I grew up, my parents mellowed out. For example, my dad would accept even a C if he knew that we were honestly working our hardest. However, if we were to get a B on something he knows we can get an A on, he gets upset. My youngest brother didn't experience the same punishments me and my younger brother did. xD

I think my mother said when I was really young, like pre-teen, I was very well behaved. I don't really remember though. Teenage years, I was just honest and respectful for the most part. I did things that would probably get most kids grounded, but I never got caught and I was mature and responsible about the stupid stuff I did, lol. My mother trusted me.

My father and I shared a sort of mutual apathy for one another and just left it at that.

@viasta- you'll be surprised at the random bits of knowledge that stick with you from studies, but yeah you can actually learn a lot from other sources too. It's mostly just filler until college-level studies when you actually choose what you want to learn.

For me I can only learn stuff I'm interested in. If I'm really really interested in the subject, I can simply read through it a few times and remember most of the important points. If I hate the subject I will not be able to learn it at all. Take for example Chinese. I've been learning it since Primary 1, 7 years already. But yet when I try to do even a Primary 4s work I'll fail.

I remember my parents used to beat me with a stick when I was young. I can run pretty fast, and that's probably where it came from, lol.

Haha, I don't need physics for my major, but I'm going to take anyway (even if it requires me an extra math class). xD I hear it's hard, but I might want to go for a Masters in Arch... so yeah. As for English... that is currently my best subject. I worry less about papers than about art projects.
