1st for me.
Game is really fun + I love the graphics, although, the class system intimidated me at first. |
i honestly dont no wtf im doing with the skill pages lol and i just max all the skills its a cluttered mess to me lol
|
The Class Skills, you can basically keep maxing cause you earn points by using that class. The Character Skills on the other hand you would need to choose carefully.
Like, if you're not going to main a Healer but still be able to switch to it if the situation calls for it then you should probably be maxing out the heal. Sort of like that as those would be limited. I need to play again so I can reach 40 and get the alpaca pet >< Now I really want to try and get Illusionist if they do good damage... |
Is it just me or is it uber laggy?
|
it was really really really laggy for a couple nights then they did something and the lag was gone. no idea what they did though. then last night aqua crashed ;_;.
also, i don't remember what server is first on the list now but i'm on aqua, ign Fyoran. add me if you want and i can help with dungeons unless i'm in the middle of guild quests or something. as for the skills: General Skills are the ones that cost gold. you can max all of them if you want but it gets very expensive later on. all classes of the same type (tank, melee damage, ranged damage, healer, magic damage) share general skills though which makes it a lot easier to level up a new class. Class Skills are specific to each class (thief, warrior, illusionist, etc.) and use class points which you get from killing. however i just heard yesterday that you stop gaining these points once you max a class (level 40 in cb) so you won't be able to max everything it seems since once you get the skills to 3x they start taking so many points that you can only level up 2 or 3 per level. Knowledge Points/Class Expertise are also specific to a class. you gain one knowledge point per class level (Start with one). expertises take one point from level 1 - 5, two points from 6 - 15, 3 points from 16 to 20. not all go to 20 though. they're all passives that affect either your character's stats or skills. however as of right now it seems the ones that affect skills are bugged. in general things that increase the affect of a skill (like increases the stats gained from a buff by 10% or increases the healing of a skill) don't increase the affect. the one exception to this may be the attack speed increase on the knight skill "classy finish". duration increases do work though. bard would be fucked if they didn't. i'm gonna try to keep up a list of bugged expertise skills here: http://www.aeriagames.com/forums/en/....php?t=1221753 post anymore you find that aren't listed please. |
im on the aqua server now and my name is Mirix add me ill probly be on most of the day ^^

just logged off, i'll add you when i get back on.

trying to get 30 2night xD
|
trying to try out martial artist. i can only use the buffs for now though cause i don't have a cestus. the buffs are awesome though. using the physical attack and and attack speed increase one mostly. the buff is an effect you gain for 18 seconds. every time you hit something you get one stack of the buff up to 10. so far fully buffed with that and my level 36 encourage i was able to get to 9.4k attack and 747 attack speed.
the cestus is a pain in the ass to get though. right now the only way to get one is by crafting and the only way to get the scrolls needed to craft it is from guild towns. luckily there's sane guild towns now and not just those stupid 100%+ tax ones. but the scroll to attempt to craft it is 25g. also, it uses something you have to buy from a fame shop so i have ot get 1k fame to be able to buy that mat. getting from 0 - 400 fame with them was easy. it just used terrified thoughts and raw and refined copper ore which were easy for me ot get. the problem is the hard iron which like the cestus and the rest of the mats can only be gained through a guild town. the scroll to farm the iron costs 2g as well. needed 500 iron to get to 1k fame from 400. still need 180 iron >_<. then after that i have to farm another 50 iron as well as some other stuff just to attempt to make the cestus which can fail. i can tell you right now i'm not crafting anything in ob unless there's absolutely no other way to get it. |
I partied with an Illusionist today and... damn it I really need to get that class! I hate playing the Mage though, so boring but the class seems worth it.
Plan for OB is Bard/Shaman and Illusionist. x: Their reduce cast time and MP recover is just awesome. |
