Efficiency ftw
 

Grinding is not about killing as fast as possible. Real grinding is killing as fast as possible while being as efficientas possible.

lvl 1-25 you need to do nothing more then spam lvl 1 MM to grind quite successfully.

lvl 25+ I've found I've needed to add a bigger nuke to start. I use 2 combo's:
1. Max lvl Firebolt then spam lvl 1 MM till monster is dead.
2. While firebolt's CD is going I'll use a max lvl Icebolt then spam lvl 1 MM till monster is dead.
3. Rinse and repeat.

1a. Harder mobs w/ higher hp I do Icebolt -> Firebolt -> spam lvl 1 MM

If I get a crit I won't take any dmg at all. If I don't then I may take 1 or 2 hits, so I do use a hp pot every 2-4 mobs(Make your own!!). However, I only use SP pots in an emergency. When I'm out of sp I rest. It usually takes at least 20 mobs to run out of sp.


Thunderbolt is worthless. Lifetap is worthless. mana burn and purge are worthless unless you pvp. MM over lvl 1 is useless. So, as far as skills go keep firebolt and magic burst maxed also buy dispel. That's a ton of saved $ and I don't think any other class can boast that.

One more note. I realize this is a free game, but for $5 every 90 days you can equip your character with an extraordinarily better mini house that makes resting much less of a pain. Com'on now, Fiesta's made a pretty decent lil game here. There shouldn't be much hesitation to supporting(in however small way) it financially. Don't they even have SC cards that can be bought in grocery/Rx stores for those w/o access to a credit card? Thought I read that.

I think archers are more expensive personally...but then again I've only gotten a mage to lvl 25 before deleting him.

Well, it's not like mages need to buy spells past lvl 1. Only the occasional Magic Burst. And then at lvl 47/49, they need to buy Magic Blast. Till then...pretty cheap I'll say...

Good point... Thou I still can't envy the mages for their efficient number of skills.

I wonder what levels these skills would be then... I'd expect 60+ or lower.

But I agree Mages not cheap....Archers get 89/85 HP/SP Stones at 56 for goodness sake! We waist so much SP on skills 300 SP to cast 5 of my skills not counting aoe skills....

Zwivix, I am now 58 and the stone capacity still hasn't changed...
