My nephews first sentence was "You've got mail" ._. But then again, he is the most materialistic 8 year old I've ever seen lol.

I wanna slap anyone who writes in net speak on paper. Makes me think of the movie Idiocracy. I think they should re-do that movie lol. Edit in some netspeak.

And I think Doctors write sloppy on purpose. I heard it makes it harder for people to immitate their hand writing and you can't tell WHAT they are writing so you can't copy the prescription.

Imagine you learn French at school, and that's the only time you need to speak French.. will you be relatively fluent in it?

I get what you're saying, but they should atleast know the difference between "a" and "an" just like even though I'm not fluent in French, I know the difference between un and une or le and la.

Actually... I'd think that non-english speaking people are more aware of the A and AN than those that are fluent english speakers!

Switching "your" and "you're" irritates me the most.

Also, "there", "their" and "they're".

What the fuck...

Jesus, even the public schools here (California, apparently one of the worst states in education) aren't that bad.

I took a quiz on facebook to see if I use them fast. You had to do it as quick as you could.

Sometimes in my head i know which their, there, they're i should be using but my finger just come out with the wrong one without me noticing it..

Like in my head I'd say "used" but my finger typed "just" all the time...

I think the internet/texting is partly to blame. When you use "ur" a lot, it's probably easier to mix them up.
