Seriously, if someone is worried about a teen seeing what goes on on FF, they're going to have a hell of a time letting you out into the real world. This place is tame compared to the vast majority of the internet, much less life.

Ralath 04-20-2009 03:21 AM

your friends visit FF?

Hessah 04-20-2009 03:29 AM

Too bad parents rather believe other parents than to check out the site for themselves... there's so much misunderstanding about forums and things.. and the media only talkings about those that was harmed by it... and parents think that the whole lot of "internet sites" are all evil and will cause your kid to be suicidal.... -sigh-

But then again.. she hasn't quite reach her teens yet =D So I can understand why her parents are protective...

Lirange 04-20-2009 12:46 PM

Thats why you dont let your parents know what your really doing online.

I got screwed over by overprotective parents - not necessarily my own, too. Hardcore.

And it effing sucks royally.

Jikanu 04-20-2009 02:02 PM

why were your friends worried though? O_o

plenty of people spend time on the internet, and as long as you werent like, flirting with people you knew were older, they had no reason to worry o_o
