I know there are death penalties in some countries. I don't live in one. But let's face it. A life is a life. Killing her doesn't solve anything. Yeah she deserves to be chucked in jail for years but killing them for the death of someone else is not the way to go. Nobody wants to die. I believe those that take revenge are just as evil as the killer.

Well said.

If we do the same thing as a criminal does, that would make us just as bad as the criminal themselves.

You're suppose to learn from history, and not repeat it.

I definitely agree with this.

Taking another life is not going to make the baby more or less alive, it'll just add more bloodshed to the already grisly case.

Killing because someone got killed, and getting killed because you killed...
When is it going to end?

I think putting her in prison in life is actually a better choice, at least she could comprehend her murder and reform herself, rather than having her die without guilt for what she did.

All in all, WE pay for them to live the good life in guilt -.-

Death to them all, plus it will scare everyone from even commiting a crime.

crime = death.. I like it.

Sad thing is there was two studies going on....

A) The study of cost of lethal ejection vs living in prison forever.

~Supposedly it costs less for the people to pay for somebody to live in prison forever than to pay for the drugs, doctors, officials, guards, and the rest of the people involved in a lethal injection ceremony (right word?).

B) What is the reaction to most doctors when asked to participate in a lethal ejection.

~Most doctors believed if they participated in a lethal ejection that they would have taken a hypocritical oath and felt that nobody deserves to die with a doctor allowing it to happen. So doctors don't wanna administer the lethal injection...

So either way it still stinks...It is harder to kill somebody instantly and it still costs lots of money either way. I won't say my personal opinion but people are tormented in this world. People who seem to us as mentally instable, to them, they are just trying to be sane from the torment they are going through or at least are trying to manage their anger.

Its a cycle of torment that leads to torment. I am not sure how to "correct" this problem in the world and I am sure if I did then I would be a millionaire. But...society will always have its problem due to the .1% that "mess" up everybodys' lifes.

^ Hippocratic. Not hypocritical lol.

Anyways, why lethal injection? Just shoot 'em in the head if you're gonna kill them. (This doesn't mean I advocate the death penalty.)

It's actually the cost of appeals, trials, and legal fees that tend to make the death penalty cost more, not the penalty itself.
