i think it might actually start on time or close ot on time. you can patch now. it says it's open on the site but i couldn't log in so i guess not

Greetings,

The following list is comprised of changes implemented in the game since the end of Closed Beta. Once a user starts the Grand Fantasia launcher, the client will automatically begin the updating process.

Items

Distributed beta rewards to players that reached appropriate level requirements in Closed Beta.
Added various new items to the game, including the n00b signboard.

Localization

Quest titles and dialogue were updated.
Character achievement titles were renamed.
Several system messages were changed based on player feedback.
Incorrect monster names in dialogue were fixed to reflect actual names (ongoing).
Edited item names to better reflect their monster/environment drop context.
UI text was edited to fit within interface panel dimensions.
Text characters that were being displayed incorrectly in the game were removed.

Launcher

Replaced Closed Beta splash image with web-based interface.
Updated text for buttons in the launcher's options window.

Controls

Changed key combination to activate the Trade chat prompt from "CTRL-B" to "CTRL-T"
Pressing the "R" key allows players to automatically respond to whisper messages.

Item Mall

Added new banners to the in-game Item Mall carousel.
Removed temporarily priced items from the test Item Mall.
Item Mall now appropriately displays a user's accurate AP amount.

Miscellaneous

Links to external websites were updated.

I equipped the cool cape on my character that had the gun crafting sprite and then I deleted him...

You could've transferred the cape over by putting it in your archives. x: Maybe submit a ticket and see if they can get it back for you?
