now i'm having this problem. wtf

-EDIT- mine is fixed. may have been a different problem. i removed the files ivra mentioned and let it patch. then it had an error doing that and i put the old ones back in and started it again and it seems fine now.

I've been trying to install on-and-off for about 6 hours now.

It worked for me too. Unfortunately, still having inexplicable video card errors on the higher-specced laptop. Mine is still in the shop.
