Those open back jackets are so strange! It's like SM said "we need them to show skin SHOW SKIN!" And the designer went... "well to go with the hulk look, we can only afford to show skin on this space on the back..." |
^ it looks really uncomfortable to wear, let alone dance in.
but one thing I found when buying stuff in korea is that everything (well the korean stuff not dept store stuff) looks really good but the quality is pretty bad lol. like not stretchable material and stuff. |
really? My Korean stuff has held up pretty well...
|
I mean it's not comfortable, not that it gets "broken" quicky.
Edit: well I think 2-3 tops I got in those myeongdong shopping centres were like that. the ones from the expensive building too ;~; |
I love that double layer top that you got me!
The other one with holes in it is a bit hard to wear... I feel so exposed LOL! |
LOOL I can't remember how big the holes were anymore.. hahaha it wasn't very obvious when I bought it !! ahhaha
you should wear the two layer top out this sunday if weather permits. I haven't seen you out with it yet I think!! |

I... I just can't imagine the awesome yoo jae suk smoking!! but stopping smoking earlier doesn't give your children better genes lols........... koreans and their gene obsession. |
I think most celebs (guys esp.) smoke in Korea...
|
Random fact: Japanese has one of the highest smoking population, but also has one of the lowest lung cancer..
Haha needs to stop smoking NOW to give his child better genes... |
No I mean, smoking or not doesn't change what your genes are, so it doesn't affect the genes you give them? It only affects them via surrounding environment isn't it.
|
I kinda assumed that if the parents smokes, they have worse quality sperm / eggs so the kid might have more problems healthwise...
or is that just a myth? |
It's a myth.. I don't get how that would work. You can't change your genes with your lifestyle, you can change your health.
I remember watching a canto show that featured a guy with really bad teeth, and then he got braces so that his kid would have perfect teeth. It doesn't work that way LOL. At least not to my knowledge.... |
Well maybe I'm wrong!
http://www.theatlantic.com/health/ar...ake-up/247808/ |
Well I didn't get to read the whole article but I still don't really think it affects what you pass onto the offspring.
From the sound of the article, you can "turn-off" "bad" genes, but I would think the "bad" genes will still get passed onto your child and it's your child's lifestyle that would affect it. |
Nvm, going back to basic science, it can actually happen:

This is so interesting and I should go back to work.
I actually kind of miss learning these stuff at uni.... holy shit am I missing uni?!!? nooooooooooooooooooo never. |
omg lol your debate with yourself.
|
lulz
|
I guess I'm not very clear on what "genes" are...
But like... I can see how your braces scenario doesn't work.. But if say a to-be-mum/dad has good calcium intake, wouldn't that MIGHT make their baby have healthier teeth or something? Like having braces just alters the appearance, doesn't really change any cells in your body the way food/smoking/alcohol does... Though, at the same time I think it probably doesn't make a HUGE difference... like maybe a dad is already carrying lung cancer pron genes, and if he smokes too it might make it worse.. but even if he doesn't smoke, he would still pass on the lung cancer pron genes to the kid.... I dont know, I'm just making stuff up LOLOL |
At the end of the day, smoking does all harm and no good, so why smoke!
|
Yesssssss loooooool.
But it must be a really big stress relief for people like celebrities... |
There's probably a social factor as well...
|
Smoking also helps you lose weight :( which is why my mom still smokes. When she quit smoking, she gained almost 20 lbs, and her blood pressure rose significantly. So she took up smoking again...
I still think it isn't worth it x.x she always gets coughing fits and sounds like she's going to literally cough up a lung. She blames dust and allergies but I'm sure the smoking isn't helping. |
I think that's just side effects of your body adjusting to the lack of substance... if she can keep the smoke away it would probably return back to normal... or was she taking up eating because she isn't smoking?
My boss use to smoke like a chimney... but deaths of friends shock him up and he gave up smoking... But he didn't give up sugar and salt though.. so he's still not in that great of a shape... |
i think I'M GOING GOING CRAZY
|
omg he's so... awkward... *cringecringecringecringe*
