I only got as far as the tutorial and after, I lost connection. Now I can't get pass the loading screen. The game just stops loading and I have to push in the button to shut off the computer. Oddly, the computer doesn't freeze but I can't alt+tab the loading screen. It get stuck on the loading screen.

Yeah, the loading screen was a... not going to say. I thought it just froze up or something again.

Have you tried pushing the windows key instead? (The one that opens up the start menu) I think that worked for me to get on to the desktop. o__o

I really don't feel like trying to get into Project Powder anymore. I got in once and then I lost connection right after the tutorial. Now, every time I try to get into the game, the game stops loading at about 50% and then just sits there. The computer doesn't freeze but the screen gets stuck on the loading screen and alt+tabing and pressing the window's key doesn't solve it.

I guess I'm not playing PP because I'm tired of playing the "get lucky and you might make it though the loading screen or you might have to shut down your computer manually" game.

I'll stick with fiesta until I can get into PP 100% of the time.

Saphar's Incredibly Helpful Snowball Throwing Tutorial ver. 1.0:

1. Join a game room
2. Hold down the left mouse button
3. Wait for your character to gather at least 4 "pushes" of snow
4. Release the left mouse button
5. Click on another player with your left mouse button
6. Type "lol"

You'll lose the snowball if you move or are hit by another snowball.

Everytime I try to start it, it says downloading new launcher and then downloads and closes.

No you won't, I can't get it to install:cries:
On one computer it says one of the files is corrupt while installing, so I will have to try and redownload it
The other computer says it was interrupted during install and must be restarted. (and yes I restarted it and got the same error)
oh well, I will give it another shot tonight maybe.

Yeah it's full screen. I believe there's a window mode version either.

Is anyone able to take screens while spinning in the air with two arrows holding down? I can't take screens when I'm doing complicated things in the air, seems like too many buttons are pressed down and Printscreen won't register or something.

Also, anyone able to pass step 2 licenses? I keep failing! Dx

You can squeeze in a trick right after you jump off the boards. I did that once, though I had difficulty landing properly, since stuffing up a landing will lose you time. Someone on the forums said you can also do three tricks on the third slope. Think you have to do it quickly and accurately? I always panic and jam the wrong keys.

Another told me that you need to fill up the boost thing for that stage to cross the finish line in time, but I don't know if our jumps will fill it up.

^I do that when I race, I never did that for my trick tree. xD I guess I should.

I don't remember how big the 3rd one is, but I'll give it a try. o-o I actually only tried Step 2 twice and that was on the same day I got it. Haven't touched any of them since.

Hm. Have you logged into your Outspark account and click "Join CB" or some button like that? If you have, try logging in and see if you can get in. You don't need to make another new account for it, your original outspark account should work.

Your SparkID and your IGN are one and the same. We'd be interested in hearing the community's thoughts on this feature. Does it make getting into the game nice and steamlined, getting you setup and racing as quickly as possible? Or do you miss the option to really customize your in-game avatar?

I know you get experience points by doing the level 2 of a trick.. thingy. But I got the license for the level 1 and now I can't go onto level 2.

Simple: Race! You get experience for completing a race in any mode, regardless of what position you finish in (though obviously, the better you do the more XP you get).

The trick quests open up once you meet the level requirement and have the required in-game money. The second step of a license tests always requires a higher level than the first.

I had some trouble finishing a race. A lot of time, I would get into rooms and then I would just return to the main menu.

Or like one of the times I did start racing said they had instability. D:

I agree with Loki and I think a lot of people would want a different IGN. I, for one, are one of those people. It just happened that my other account got accepted so I got to go in the game as Blaaaahs. But if I couldn't, I think I'll be a bit bugged by it because a lot of people like to use different names for logins. Not sure why but I have that habit too, haha.

Did everyone who is having trouble patching/playing install the game in a directory other than the default one?

If so, I'd recommend reinstalling the game in the default location.
