Very rarely(I encountered this), you can find pets in treasure chests that monsters may drop. That's how I got my slime pet for my archer in FoM.

but monsters don't drop treasure boxes o.o GMs spawn them or you can find them out in the world, they are very rare and hard to find though.

I've only found two treasure chests, one with a pet, but I died trying to get it. Another one, which didn't have a pet. They were in LS2 and Sea of Greed's middle with the maras.

Good luck with that. People try to overcharge on the pet prices. A good deal would be to buy a pet for no more than 5 silver. I've seen prices as high as 150s per pet...

I hope that more pets will be implemented in CB2. There are 30+ I think...

Omg! I think there is only 3 pets most people have and those I've only seen go for 8silvers. Pets are hard to come by, and most people want Honeyings so they probably go for more...

but I got my pet from a GM spawned treasure chest along with other stuff..I've only got two tresure chests that weren't spawned by GM. One was in LS1 (that just randomly appeared next to me..can you say awkward?) and another that was in Sand Beach.

If you want to look for treasure boxes, look at the end of the lands and in places where people don't tend to go. You'll most likely find one there.

I can't even imagine the amount of silver(or hell, gold) the new pets will go for!

I saw someone posting all the different pets there are, the icons i mean, and I wouldn't be surprise the higher ones going for like 4gems or something..But i'm never in tune with the economy so I like to give stuff to my friends for a reasonable price XD

I've found between 10-20 non gm spawned treasure chests, no pets from them though. :(

I've only gotten 2 pets from treasure boxes both were from GM spawned ones, though it was probably because i was opening 10+ boxes so of course I should have a higher chance of getting one XD

You truely can't farm treasure boxes outside GM spawned ones because they are rare. You'd be wasting your time looking for them, you can go to every land and never find one.

I got lvl 58 green pants :D gives +13str :D

i think it's either my +6 bow or my +7 end ring

I just got this off a Mutant Wolf in Forest of Mist. It's most likely the best thing I've found. With no enhancement it does as much damage as my lvl 15 light bow with +6 and it's got a higher critical rate. I'm going to try enhancing it, probably end up breaking it though, wish me luck...

Well, I made it up to +4 then got greedy. It broke even twice, niether gaining nor losing anything, but I couldn't leave well enough alone... So long lil wolf bow.

Beside KQ's the best drops I have gotten are +7str Rings.

After finally seeing that Mutant Wolf I decided to check on the King Boogy too. So I headed off the Sea of Greed and sure enough there he was. Killed him and his cronies and took his staff :)

Level 54 fighter boots with +3 strength from a harkan.

Thunder stout hammer from a piggy bat....

Blessed armour +3~! XD

Although that wasn't technically a drop, it was a prize from the Mara KQ. It's nothing special, not rare or anything, but the surprise it gave me made it good enough :3 I was almost certain I was going to get an empty box again.
