And if they say why you are wearing a shield..

"I'm a battle-mage. *runs*"

i've gotten asked as a fighter for buffs a couple times.

shift-z ... or only give buffs in pvp, then you can test there effectiveness! :D lol j/k

shift Z doesnt mean they cant see u though...

it'll appear like you're ignoring them...

but at least u wont know and wont see so you wont feel guilty LOL

There's quite a few tales of people who under the misconception that shift+z erased everyone on the map but themselves, did and shouted things they might not have under watchful eyes :p

Rofl! Yeah I did find out that it doesn't make me invisible! I had a guildie ask me what I was doing just standing in front of avon. I asked "can you see me!?" and she said "Yeah, can't you see all the people asking for buffs!" heh

I felt kinda bad but I had been in guild chat and didn't see reg chat. hah

I don't feel bad if I'm in a hurry on the hobby just to restone. I was never the ask for a buff guy anyways. I can count on one hand how many times I've asked for a buff. But I can heal mself also. "/

Some times the lag in elderine drives me batty though. :(

Ur regular chat doesnt show up when u shift Z... (so shift Z blocks out all the gold spammers and "buff plz")

you hide town, you hide chat too!

lol wen i feel really mean wen ppl ask for buffs ill sit there and start talking
to them and they will be like so how about that buff and i like umm i cant
buff u cuz idn u and my mom told me to watch out for creepers =D
