Obviously, since one of the brothers always speaks nothing but the truth while the other is going lie, Like everyone else said; You can ask the question "Which is the way to Heaven?". Then the honest one will point to Heaven and the Liar will point to Hell, since the liar is a liar and the honest one is right, you can therefore assume that the OPPOSITE of what the liar says is true (since the question is directed at both,right?). Follow opposite path and viola! xD Question Is: DO you KNOW that the liar is a liar? Cuz that will just ruin everything lol. Otherwise.... END OF STORY! :D |

You can only make one trip up the stairs, and you can only flip one switch at a time. How do you determine which of the three switches turns on the light on the second floor ? |
