Call of duty 1 was for Ps2, CoD 2 for the Ps2 and X-box, CoD 3 for the X-box and PS2 CoD 4 Modern Warfare, 360 ps3, CoD 5 World at War, Cod 6 Modern warfare 2.
Blah blah, I bet the other CoD's in between really don't count toward the direct 5 they have now, Is what i'm saying.

COD5 Must be hidden...this is just an intro for the new adventure XP!

MW2 will be Call of Duty 4: Modern warefare 2...

They run it like the gta games.. as vice city and san andreas were never gta 4 and 5...

I very much doubt i'm wrong, Me and a friend of mine counted off the games, The mainstream ones that were not console exclusive total it to 5. As of now.
Everything else were just little side-quests and whatnot.

Call of Duty 1 Playstation 2/ 2004-ish
Call of Duty 2 Playstation2/Xbox/ 2005
Call of Duty 3 Playstation2/360 2006-2007
Call of Duty 4 Playstation 3/360 2008/2009
Call of Duty 5 Playstation 3/360 2009/present
Call of Duty 6 (Or 4-2) This fall (?)

That sounds like Ownage to me. And it also sounds like World at War is Number 5.

The fifth game made doesnt mean anything about the title.
And as for modern warfare they said they originally said Modern Warfare 2 , call of duty 6 : modern warfare 2 and in NO titles of the game world at war do you see a number. Its like big red one etc.

So you're claiming Number 5 never existed, Though the next game is Number 6?

It's painfully obvious that this game is actually Call of Duty 5, They just did not feel the need to add a number.

All the "Little" CoD games were console exclusive, and therefore, do not count to the main 5 games.

CoD5: World at War
CoD6: Modern Warfare 2

Or just Modern Warfare 2, The idea is the same, as well as the fact that these games are still part of the main series.
