Basically, the goal of the KQ is to survive 30 minutes - you don't have to kill the boss (Robo), and in actuality, I think he's killed maybe 5% of the time. The map is one large circular room with 4 smaller side rooms. You don't move anywhere, but you wait around while mobs spawn in large groups of increasing difficulty. There's a long break from around 11:00 left to 9:00, then all hell breaks loose. At 7:45 left, there's a huge group of wild boars that charge in, which is pretty much impossible to tank. At that point, everyone runs. People that have more than 1-2 mobs on them (depending on what they can handle for their level/class) runs circles around the room, while anyone who's safe heads to the center. From there, the people in the center work to pull mobs from the runners, while the runners just keep running.

And running.

And running.

Until the 30 minutes is up. XD

With the Robo KQ, even if you have a good team it doesn't help if everyone does their own thing. In A this morning we had 10 out of 15 people being level 40's. We still lost because they were taking each monster 1 on 1 instead of eliminating 1 monster very quickly using combined strength. The hordes that spawned overwhelmed us.

I think it helps if archers and mages do their AOE's. I heard the archers AOE attack has a long cooltime, but when its up, they should definitely take advantage of it.

And people don't exactly attack the mob once its running. They just keep running >_< The ViVis and archers are so annoying.

Heh.. its not that easy. It can be, but it depends on whose in there. First you're in a tiny room with like.. 15 monsters on everyone. Then when running, not ALL monsters are aggro'd by the runner. You have ViVis and archers that get loose and they do ranged attacks. Then theres Robo.

That doesn't work. Even with the speed scroll you only maintain a 2m distance. If you turn they'll gain on you with the speed scroll. Without it, you'll always be caught. There is no outrunning these monsters without paying a hefty price. Lv. 45 or not, you need a cleric to help you when your running...

Its SCARY and BORING as sin. T_T I miss Mara~

I love it when I run and turn around to find the bunch of mobs behind me multiply. That "WTH" feeling is so exciting. I also love it when I'm like "OH SHI 20 SECONDS TILL SPAWNING BACK TO TOWN" and a cleric magically appears to revive me.

;_; I'm a damage whore, not a tank whore! So to me its like, OH CRAP. If I die, they won't ress me because I'm not a cleric or tank! :~;
