I went to Japan speaking no Japanese!

it was so hard :cries:

We had an aussie guy translating the menu for us once... and we look more asian than him....

I also like it. I usually just use it for expanding vocab and improving reading speed for Japanese.

I tried one of those cheap wal-mart learn how to speak Japanese cds and it didn't work. Reminds me of 3 years of Spanish but only learning how to say tener in 3 forms D:

Hell, I have no idea what it actually says. You could be spot on. Babelfish is well-known for some rather amusing mistranslations, especially if you run it through several languages.
