Here is the excerpt:

Nevermind:cries:

Electoral college decides the winner. Electoral college is how many votes each state has to determine the Presidency. The electoral college is based on population percentages for each state. So a large populace state like California counts more than Indiana.

I personally believe that this way is outdated but Ehhh I dislike politicians any way.

Vasu 11-05-2008 02:13 AM

So I only have to care about the electoral votes?

Rightclaw 11-05-2008 02:15 AM

Electoral votes system = fail, imo.

Vasu 11-05-2008 02:17 AM

Yeah, we have it in India too, it's pretty stupid.

Hyper 11-05-2008 02:22 AM

Indeed.

Now we have someone who knows literally nothing about the military as the head of the military. Reduction of weaponry? Good one. In the age where weapons become ever more sophisticated, we will have a secondhand weapon system to defend us. I will admit that he has some good changes in mind, but one key McCain ad still rings true:

Barack Obama has little experience.

It's a fact, don't even bother to decry it. And no, I am not a McCain supporter.

Hessah 11-05-2008 03:53 AM

Well... you vote to keep the bad parties out.. so.. even though one of them "won" i guess it doesnt really mean he's the "best" but he should be a "better" choice out of the two.........

Dynamics 11-05-2008 04:01 AM

won't he have a fair amount of advisors beside him to cover for lack of experience?

Hessah 11-05-2008 04:03 AM

apparently McCain's advisor lady is awful.... LOL!
