Meh, as an archer, I get that ALOT, I just diss/ignore those mentioned and keep asking for a party, or solo if I have to. *hi-five to Dyno*

i went lonewolf on my fighter last. i was level 16 and this was my last chance to kill queen slime. of course being a level 16 pure end fighter meant i was tanking.

when queen slime popped out, i left king slime (lol) and started pwning queenslime. i got the kill, which means no one else did (another lol) and king slime killed like 6 people when i stopped attacking (again more lol) but we finished it, and i did get a bit more exp than when in parties.

About getting the killing blow, do the other party members get the kill too? or another way of saying it... do i get the kill if a party member gets the killing blow?

Yeah, a party kill is accepted as your own kill as well. Having a lot of people in a party tweaks your chances to get the kill. A trick Blahs uses is to just use bash when the unit is on a slither of health. This would apply for whatever attack skill you have.

XD i was doing that when this fighter tried to KS the dungeon grave robber... Kev needed it for Quest.. so i got him (and the other girl) to hit it.. and i just stood around till it's almost dead and did a Bash
(btw it was ours.. we got to the spot first and hit it first)

she couldnt get the first two but then realise wat i was doing and did their fighter hit... my bash is a tickle compare to the fighter skill so we couldnt get the kill... no point fighting with ppl like that so we went out and found another robber all to ourselves...

thats why i like partying tons of mages. spamming mm1, they deal a shit ton of damage and are constantly attacking.

There's been very few times I've had to go it alone. And those were actually on my Cleric when I was a wee little newb and didn't have my first buff. No one wanted to party me.

Pretty much since then I've thought, screw this I'm making my own KQ parties from now on so I'll never be left out again. And so I win.

on my fighter i say "The tank needs his healers" and i instantly get a party invite.

even when i was level 17 fighter in mara KQ. people see i'm calling myself the tank and instantly party me. its hilarious.

My experience is that you get partied well enough while being a mage, cleric or fighter, but archers tend to get ignored.

Personally I always party the mages and archers first. Just because they kill the fastest so there's more chance of more exp. Plus they're easy to heal.
