Is there such thing as a Full support cleric that just buffs and heals?

the name is h4v0c as of now am a lvl 28 cleric
well talking about monster.. high lvl mobs do magical damage and they do damage a lot. also physcal type monster also damage high.. like around 100+ and the magic is about 150ish at my lvl(28) TRAINING PLACE (MOONLIGHT TOMB) STR cleric - basically a str cleric can survive there with invincible but that will not save him from a magical user mob.. it will just take 5 sec to take down the shield Like Ice Vivi which is like lvl 26-28 mob.. (yellow colored monster "name" means is the same as your lvl) it will hit a str cleric around 150ish STR cleric will kill the mob in about 15s of time..(no misses) *pure str cleric will miss like 30% of the time hitting mob there* SPR cleric - if a spr cleric will go there.. magical type monster will damage less physcal type will damage the same Killing time around 10s-20s..( depends on the crit rating) *pure spr cleric will miss like 30% of the time hitting mob there* |

Well, I might as well add in my two cents to this thread.
First off, yes, "OSNP CLERICS GET GIANT HAMMERS/MACES AND DO DAMAGE". This is the second game I've seen where clerics can actually take a melee/battle path and not get screwed over for doing it. Seal Online had priests similar to Fiesta's, but they had to sacrifice healing/buffing potency if they chose a battle path. Even then, they were much weaker. But I digress... Clerics seem to already be a great support class. Their heals have fixed HP amounts that they restore, so you do not sacrifice heal potency for the STR you get. In fact, all of the buffs seem to have fixed amounts that they add into stats, as well. STR and END seem to be the most crucial stats to a cleric - I'm doing great damage so far and I can tank hits fairly well with a 2:1 STR/END build. Some people might emphasize END over STR, and that's fine, too. In fact, I might increase the amount of END in my build later on or change the ratio. With regard to a full support cleric - you can do it, but I don't see any reason to yet. In the future, heals and buffs could possibly be affected by INT/magic. I wouldn't really know though. I DID get accepted into the GM event today and got warped to Uruga, which had level 60 weapons/armors for sale. The skill trader wasn't nearby though, so I didn't get the chance to take a peek. |
yea , made a mistake , I believed that +1 dmg by 5 pts stat , but it seems its about +1 dmg by pts , so at High Level thats a real benefit .
But still don't think its a good choice to do a pure STR. Actually my stat is +12 STR +21 END , but keep goind END for playing in party and kill higher mobs. |
