My personal Opinion on buffs is they are a privilege and not required. If a cleric doesn't want to buff you then stop spamming him/her. I have a level 48 cleric friend who ran out of Elderine because some many people harassed her....:sigh:

So it may not be you but with 10 people spamming buff me or something and even saying it in wispher. Lets not go there.....:goaway:

-Frick-

I hear your pain...it is bad even in Robo KQ. People are spamming me saying why don't you heal me [As I am running around with the largest or second to largest train of monsters and maybe even Robo himself]

My reply....
Use your stones or die...

almost exactly like my problem in the last kq i did :3

i try to focus on my party in them - the way i see it is i'm stealing some of their exp and i'm not even fighting anything. apparently that's not good enough for some people XD

kq gets so hectic it's sometimes hard to make sure every player is topped up :3

the player that had a problem with me said he'd failed the same kq four times and it was because of 'people like me' (not, perhaps, that he doesn't understand how to play)

oh well it's not something you should worry about at the end of the day we've all got to play, learn, then level up.

ish nawt ur fawlt if someone's crap at the game XD

As some have mentioned, being a cleric is really not as easy as it seems. Having a cleric's responsibility means you have to make sure your party is healed and keep yourself alive. And yeah, that takes up a lot of hp/sp stones and potions. People that are not clerics don't care about it. Sometimes they don't even think about using their OWN stones or potions in hope to get some burden off the cleric. How nice would that be? The cleric healing here and there and just standing there attacking, not really caring about what the cleric goes through is just a BS.
When I'm on my fighter, I try to use potions and stones so the cleric doesn't have to heal me all the time. It's nice to get healed a few times. And when that happens, I thank the cleric. It's completely rude and thoughtless of one to verbally abuse the cleric because he/she wasn't healed well. If that happens, you should ignore them, let them die - who cares? They deserved it. If they don't know how to treat the others right and don't know how to be thankful, they don't deserve to be treated well by the others.

I've started a cleric clanker for the reason I got tired of rude people on my mage and I wanted to decide who to help and who to say "gth..." (not necessarily just rude to me but in general or to other people)
I've been called a noob for trying to keep people alive instead of tanking everything:goaway:

I do kind of feel bad when grinding with a cleric though
since I don't die and we just keep on grinding I burn SP really fast
thus I tend to abuse Life Tap...every 15 seconds until I'm back at 80%
I continue fighting while waiting for cooldown so it takes quite a few taps
so the cleric keeps on casting heal or regen on me

No offense but that is just plain mean...I don't mind making DD parties but when they depend on the cleric to keep them alive while they life tap like crazy is horrible. I have had that happen in the abyss 3 times now. :sigh: A mage tried life tapping while aoeing a mob of 10-20 monsters. In the other experiences I have had the mages life tap then aoe then life tap and I am trying to keep them all healed till I let one slip to save the tank or save myself. Then they complain. :goaway: It is really bad in robo...gosh I don't mind keeping mages alive in robo (which honestly is a pain to burn 30-40 stones vs. clanker pt which I burn like 3) but if you life tap my 2 cents is that your taking your own risk of staying alive or not. I don't mind going a few steps out to help mages but use stones...stop forcing the clerics to do it. (Not necessarily aimed at anybody)

I have noticed the 'lifetap' abuse issue as well. Although I have actually had courteous mages ask up to what point I can handle lifetap and with how big of a mob(SHOCKER). I think it all goes back to the player behind the character. You have people that are rude and inconsiderate and some that are nice people and a pleasure to pty with...
