Yeah, seems fair. Can't camp at your Elo, have to maintain it. Elo will only degrade if it's over 1400.


They said they did this so if you go on a break from LoL, your Elo degrades to compensate for your being rusty. Also so that those at the top have to always compete to stay at the top.


edit: LoL's so international! Classmate was sitting behind me when he saw the LoL shortcut on my desktop. He plays LoL too so we exchanged summoner names and are going to play this afternoon.

If you're computing where other people can easily see you, then I don't see what the problem is. If I whip it out in a crowded classroom, I'd rather expect the people behind me to take a glance.
