Hey.. wat's a Wild Dragon?!

one of my egg hatched, and I didn't want it so i abandoned it.. (not named yet)

and its now a Wild Dragon...

How come it didnt turn up at the abandoned pile?

I think there's always a small chance that the dragon becomes wild.

Wild dragons are dragons with no owners, they're found in the Wilderness.

My guess is someone picked it up from the abandoned pile and decided they didn't want it after it became an adult and their options were to release it to the wild or kill it, so they released it to the wild.

(I did that with one I bred)

I dunno, maybe sometimes when we abandon them they randomly "get loose" and make it to the wilderness. I have only abandoned one or two of my bred ones and I never followed up on any I grabbed in haste from the abandon page & quickly re-abandoned, so I dunno.

So, today is my son's b'day. I was playing around with his scroll, trying to see if I could get him any rare eggs. He has been wanting a dino egg. I had a few minutes this morning while I was drinking my coffee and look what I snagged him!!! And on his birthday, yay!!!

I'm hoping they will come out later this month. Maybe on the 20th. since that is the first day of spring.

One can hope.

Wonder what they will look like. Apparently the seasonal dragons only started in the Summer of last year, so I only missed last year's summer and fall.

nope Nursery =/= ER

at http://www.sotidragon.net/

Click on Dragon List on the left

At the top you'll see Search, Nest, Nursery, Freezer, ER

Nest - for eggs
Nursery - for hatchlings
ER - for dragons with 3 days or less

Click on ER (even if its highlighted, click on it)

then you should see a little box to imput your dragon code

Apparently the host server provider has some kind of firewall that sees the many small requests for Dragon Egg info as Denial-of-Service Attacks and has throttled back the amount of requests it will allow through at any one time or in a specific period of time.

They are working on it, but in the meantime getting in is tedious, to say the least.

I have spent several hours trying over & over to get eggs on the Soti page - finally managed to get mine & Spirit's son loaded and am working today on Spirit's.

I also posted them on a thread on the DC forum for the Eggs Will Be Dragons manual input page and had them alll added to that page. There are still a lot of people trying to gives views.

I have also read on the forums that TJ is suppose to revive any eggs or hatchlings that may die during this lagfest, but I still prefer to try to keep mine alive if possible.
