Though, I haven't watched it in a while so I don't remember if there was that much blood...

At the time I didn't want to wait for the next episode so I read a bit into the manga and kinda stopped watching the anime for a while

I dun like it..

I had a hard time watching Inuyasha as a kid because there were some episodes with so much blood.

D:. Yeah, if you think the first episode is too gorey, you definitely wont like the rest.

So I watched the first two episodes, and honestly, the only thing I really care about is how the titans came... does that get explained??

So far in the anime, no. I don't know about the manga. Though there are some hints about their relationships with humans later on in the anime.
