Nope. Not 100%, but from what i understand it is the only way to get a Geode.

3 of my hatchlings say this when I look at them:
"The hatchling seems sick. It hasn't been eating lately and it doesn't move very much."
Is this cured by hiding the dragons just like the soft shell sickness, or do I need to do something else?

depends. if the sickness is cause by more clicks than unique views then remove the clickable link from wherever you post it so it only gets views. if it's caused by too many views in a short period of time then hide it
